Welcome all participating online poker forums to this month’s $500 Forumfest, courtesy of 32Red Poker and running throughout the month of September 2010.
How it works
Each participating online poker forum will run 9x no-limit Texas Hold’em ‘Forumfest’ tournaments, each offering 1500 starting chips and 10 minute blind levels. Points will be awarded after each game, in reverse order from the number of entrants (e.g. if 10 entrants, 10th place gets 1 point and 1st place gets 10 points). The buy-in for each tournament is a tiny $3 + $0.30, which go towards each prize pool.
While 32Red Poker sets up all the Forumfest games, forum moderators will ensure that scores are up to date. Finalists who are found to be unassociated to their respective Forums will forfeit any Final prizes.
$500 Forumfest Final
The top 3 players from each participating online poker forum at the end of September will meet in our $500 Forumfest Final tournament on Sunday 3rd October at 20:00 (UK time).

Not bad Nick for the first attempt at a forum challenge however maybe a forum prize should also be up for grabs in the final as it is a forumfest.
What sort of Forum prize would you like to see Pomp, trophy?
Btw, you should get yourself a gravatar
Hey Nick
a virtual trophy is a possibility isnt it especially with the graphics peeps you must have at your disposal lmao.
For your information, we may have even spoke about this vaguely, I have devised a team league structure that guarantees team mates will not be playing against each other at the same table.
Anything is possible, happy to discuss… What have you devised then?
Well I wont post here for all and sundry to see as its not being used anywhere online now or in the past mate so bit unique.
Not sure why the finals was changed from October 3 to October 5. It is a workday for me (I’m in Canada) and now I won’t be able to play.
Hey dci_assassin,
August’s Forumfest Final had been organised for the 3rd September. September’s Forumfest Final was organised for the 5th October. Unfortunately I cannot change the date at this late stage, but I will definately make sure to run it on a weekend in future. My sincere apologies.
Your doing a great job young Nick and good luck all finalists especially my pokerpeople
