With the WSOP 2009 final table some time away, it would appear that poker has taken a step back from the headlines…But that’s not the case here are 32Red Poker, where we have news on top poker promotions and winners. So read on for some poker and 32Red news, including who are this week’s WiseGuys.

Poker News: Poker in the Park III to Attract Big Names
Poker in the Park is back for a third time in London’s Leicester Square. The popular festival is set to attract some of the biggest names in UK and European poker with Ian Frazer, Neil Channing, Kara Scott, Paul Jackson and Nick Persau all set to make an appearance.
Derek Kelly, of the Gutshot Club and Voodoo Card Club, is due to speak in a 30 minute class on the development of the online poker industry in the UK and Ireland. Kelly, who is the author of “Tales of a Degenerate Poker player”, will also be talking about the history of poker.
Poker in the Park III is expected to attract 15,000 poker enthusiasts from around the world. The event starts at 5pm on August 13th 2009 if you’re interested in attending.
