Into the lions’ den: EPT Copenhagen

If you were to ask what the best and most exciting tournament of the year is, there would probably be a few possible answers. The WSOP Main Event would be mentioned by everyone, the GUKPT Grand Final by an Englishman, but the week when the toughest poker tour goes into the hotbed of European poker features very high on my list. EPT Copenhagen starts today, and I’ve managed to squeak in, to play Day 1B tomorrow.

There is only one way to approach EPT Copenhagen, and that is to try and take on the best at what they do. I’ve already one expereince in Copenhagen that I will never forget; this time two years ago, I caught the middle set after eight minutes against my Swedish friend Peter Hedlund. Our hitsory had been so explosive that, even when all the chips went in, I thought I may be the early chip leader. No, he rolled over the top set, and instead I was the first man out of the tournament! I just hope this trip might be unforgettable, but for a slightly different reason.

Good luck dude, guess it is starting pretty soon. Just FYI, i heard that Peter Hedlund managed to pass bottom-set on a AT7 board yesterday, you have got to trumph that somehow
